Emmanuel Church is committed to encouraging and equipping women to use their gifts, for the benefit
of one another in the church and for the glory of God.
Our Women’s Ministry Team aims to serve the women
of the church - helping them grow in their love for the Lord Jesus and living for Him as 21st-century women.
We wholeheartedly embrace God's design for men and women - who are equal with one another in gifting and worth but differ in their roles and responsibilities.
We look to create opportunities for friendship and fellowship, prayer support, and honest real-life accountability relationships. This happens through
inter-church activities, one to one partnerships, or
small groups for prayer and Bible study, as well as
events such as our breakfasts or an away day.

Our annual away day is an opportunity for the women of Emmanuel to meet for fellowship, Bible Study and prayer, away from the ordinary demands of life.
We are looking forward to discussion-based Bible study, prayer, singing, a book review, a video mission report, personal testimonies, a book stall, informal conversation and optional leisure activities.
Our theme is 'Loving One Another'.
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
John 13:34-35
Young women, aged 13+ and babies are welcome. We are sorry that a crèche will not be provided.
