Men at Emmanuel
Approximately 2-3 times per year, we join with Myton, Saltisford & Kenilworth churches for a joint men's breakfast held at a local hotel. These are ideal events for bringing friends to, and always include a guest speaker, someone with an interesting story to tell. Previous speakers include men from the spheres of business, policing, the military, and sportsmen.
Men
The men's ministry team aims to provide a programme that encourages and equips men to live in faithfulness to Christ, and honour him in our responsibilities at home, at work, in church and in the wider community. There are a number of ways we can encourage one another in this, and the program includes both formal and informal opportunities to meet and learn together. In seeking to live for Christ, we also want to create opportunities for others to hear the good news of Jesus, so the programme includes a number of activities designed to help men to reach out to our non-Christian male friends with the gospel.
