Men's Ministry

The men's ministry team aims to provide a programme that encourages and equips men to live in faithfulness to Christ, and honour him in our responsibilities at home, at work, in church and in the wider community.  There are a number of ways we can encourage one another in this, and the program includes both formal and informal opportunities to meet and learn together.  In seeking to live for Christ, we also want to create opportunities for others to hear the good news of Jesus, so the programme includes a number of activities designed to help men to reach out to our non-Christian male friends with the gospel.

Men's Breakfasts

These take place most months on a Saturday morning, and involve eating (a great, cooked) breakfast as well as some Bible study on a particular topic relevant to men. Recent studies have covered topics such as marriage & singleness, work, and fatherhood.  There is usually a minimal charge of a couple of pounds to cover the cost of food.

Joint Men's Breakfasts

Approximately 2-3 times per year, we join with Myton, Saltisford & Kenilworth churches for a joint men's breakfast held at a local hotel. These are ideal events for bringing friends to, and always include a guest speaker, someone with an interesting story to tell. Previous speakers include men from the spheres of business, policing, the military, and sportsmen.

Midlands Mens Convention - The Joyful Fear of the Lord - 9 Nov 19

Mens Retreat

Once pre year we hold a mens retreat over a Friday evening and a Saturday.  This gives men from the church the opportunity to get to get to know each other better, and to take time out of our busy schedules to think, pray and be spiritually feed through some great Biblical teaching.  These are normally held in the Autumn.  If you are interested in attending please email the mens ministry team.

121s and Prayer Triplets

Some of the men in the church really benefit from meeting together on a 121 basis or in triples, to share, study the Bible and pray.  If you would like to be part of this then please email the mens ministry team.
