At Emmanuel, we believe that your time at university is a crucial time to grow as a Christian by playing an active part in mission with CU, but also by becoming part of a local church. We want to do all we can do to help you make the most of this opportunity and to make sure you are strengthened in your faith, stretched, encouraged and built up through God's word and fellowship with other believers.

As a local church we desire to listen and submit to God's word; to make the gospel known to friends and family members who don't yet know Jesus; to love and serve one another. A wide range of people make up Emmanuel, and we aim to make it a great church family for students, both from the UK and overseas, who want to grow in their relationship with God and be trained and equipped for a lifetime of service. 

Sundays at 10.30am

Sunday morning is our main church family meeting, where we come together to worship God, and hear and respond his word together. As well as clear Bible teaching and a mixture of traditional and contemporary music, we also allow plenty of time to get to know each other over coffee. We offer transport from Coventry, Leamington and Warwick University campus. Our minibus picks students up from the Cryfield lay-by at 9.45am. Our evening worship service is at our church building at 6.30pm.

Student lunches

Lunch is offered to students every week by church families, so that you can get to know other members of the church family better, as well as have a good meal. Every term we also run a larger joint student lunch at church, which are a great opportunity for a questions and answers session, as well as meeting other students.

Social activities and events 

We run a number of other social activities for you to join in with at Emmanuel, which will help you make friends off campus and get to know others in our church family.
