Thank you for visiting the Emmanuel website. Here you will find lots of helpful resources, and information about our church family. Do join us for a Sunday service, to find out more or just to see what we are like. Whether you are a Christian or not, you are very welcome.

Emmanuel is a group of people committed to worshipping and serving God together, from a range of ages, backgrounds, and life situations in the church. We've found forgiveness and acceptance with God through his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the cross on our behalf and rose from the dead to give us new life. We respond to God in our worship, and in living for him every day of the week. We want to make known this good news of Jesus Christ to others.

In dependence on the Holy Spirit's power, we want to grow together:

• in our Christian lives, becoming more and more like our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.  We want to honour him in all we do.
• in our understanding of God's word the Bible, which teaches us about him, about what he has done, and how we should respond to his goodness to us.
• in our life together as a church, growing in love and unity, and seeking to encourage and help one another.
• in loving and serving the wider world, loving our neighbours whoever they might be.
• in our passion for making Christ known, locally, nationally, and throughout the world.

If you'd like to know more about Emmanuel, how you can be involved, or if you have questions about the Christian faith, please get in touch. We're happy to help. You're always welcome to join a church family for lunch after the Sunday morning service, and once a month you can join one of our home groups for lunch at the church building. These are two of the many ways you can start getting to know people, and finding out more about our church family.
